Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Sigma Z Line for AI & Software Development (“Sigma Z Line”, “we”, “us”) is a software engineering company based at 132 El Bahr El Aazam, 1st Floor, Office 101, Giza, Egypt. We are responsible (the “data controller”) for the personal data described in this policy.
This policy covers:
- this website, www.sigmaz-line.com;
- enquiries you send us through the contact form, WhatsApp, phone or email;
- our consulting and software development services.
Our own products (such as Taalomy, Mazraty, Tareekna and Rounding Portal) have their own privacy notices, which apply when you use them. When we build or host software for a client, that client decides how its users’ data is used, and we process it only on the client’s instructions under our contract (see Terms of Service, section 11).
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address (optional), the service you are interested in, your message, and the language of the page you used.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: your phone number or email address, the name on your profile, and the content of your messages.
- Clients: company and billing details (such as commercial registration and tax ID), project requirements and materials, and any system access you give us for the project.
Please do not send us sensitive information (for example health, financial or identity documents) through the contact form or WhatsApp. If a project needs it, we will agree a secure way to share it.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Hosting and security logs: our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics records the pages you view, your approximate location (city/country), device and browser, how you found us (for example Google Search or Google Maps), and whether you used our contact options (submitting the form, or tapping WhatsApp, phone or email). Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
2.3 Information stored on your device
The site saves a few settings in your browser’s local storage: your theme (light/dark), language, whether you have already seen the intro animation, and your cookie choice. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.
3. How we use your information
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry, arranging a consultation and preparing an estimate | Your request and consent; steps before entering a contract |
| Delivering, supporting and invoicing projects | Performance of our contract with you |
| Keeping accounting and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Keeping the website secure and working | Our legitimate interests |
| Understanding which pages and channels bring enquiries, so we can improve the site | Your consent (analytics cookies) |
We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision-making, or send you marketing messages unless you have asked for them. You can opt out of any follow-up messages at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): delivers contact-form submissions to our email inbox.
- Google: Gmail (our email), Google Analytics (only with your consent), and Google Maps and Google Fonts (your browser connects to Google to show the office map and load the site’s fonts).
- WhatsApp (Meta): when you message us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery and security. cdnjs and jsDelivr: deliver the open-source code libraries the site uses.
We may also share information with professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers), with authorities when the law requires it, or with a buyer if our business is ever sold or merged. In every case the information stays protected under this policy.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers listed above store or process data outside Egypt, for example in the European Union or the United States. We only use established providers that apply recognised safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses and strong security certifications) and we take steps to ensure your data receives a level of protection consistent with Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
For client projects with data-residency requirements, the hosting location is agreed in the project contract.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use our site. Its cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to 2 years) are only set after you click Accept on the cookie banner.
If you decline, or before you choose, no analytics cookies are set. Google may still receive basic signals without cookies or identifiers (for example, that a page was viewed), which cannot be used to recognise you.
Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to tell people apart from automated bots. We do not use advertising cookies.
You can change your choice at any time:
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Client project and billing records: for the length of the contract, then for as long as commercial and tax laws require (up to 7 years).
- Analytics data: 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically.
- Security logs: normally no longer than 90 days.
8. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access limited to the people who need it, and multi-factor authentication on our accounts. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of any breach where the law requires.
9. Your rights
Under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, and other data protection laws where they apply to you (such as the GDPR, the Saudi PDPL or the UAE PDPL), you have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law;
- object to or restrict certain uses of your data;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before);
- receive your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
To make a request, email us at [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity, and we aim to respond within 14 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Centre or to the data protection authority in your country.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make significant changes, we will highlight them on our website.
